Analytics & Reporting (Pro)

This guide explains the comprehensive analytics and reporting features available in Growfund Pro. Analytics help you track campaign performance, monitor donations, and make data-driven decisions.

Overview​

Growfund Pro includes comprehensive analytics and reporting tools that provide insights into your fundraising platform's performance. These tools help you understand campaign performance, donor behavior, and overall platform health.

Note: Analytics and reporting features are available in Growfund Pro. The free version includes basic statistics.

Analytics Dashboard​

Accessing Analytics​

  1. Navigate to Analytics

    • Go to Growfund > Analytics
    • View the main analytics dashboard
    • See overview of key metrics

  2. Dashboard Overview

    • Total revenue metrics
    • Campaign performance overview
    • Donor/backer statistics
    • Top campaigns and contributors

Key Metrics​

The analytics dashboard displays:

  • Total Revenue: Total funds raised across all campaigns
  • Total Donations: Total number of donations received
  • Total Pledges: Total number of pledges made (Campaign Mode)
  • Active Campaigns: Number of active campaigns
  • Total Donors: Number of unique donors
  • Total Backers: Number of unique backers (Campaign Mode)
  • Average Donation: Average donation amount
  • Average Pledge: Average pledge amount (Campaign Mode)

Campaign Analytics​

Campaign Performance​

  1. Navigate to Campaign

    • Go to Growfund > Campaigns
    • Select a campaign
    • Click Analytics tab

  2. View Campaign Metrics

    • Total raised amount
    • Number of contributors
    • Contribution trends over time
    • Goal progress percentage

Campaign Metrics​

  • Revenue: Total funds raised for campaign
  • Contributors: Number of donors/backers
  • Average Contribution: Average donation/pledge amount
  • Goal Progress: Percentage of goal achieved
  • Time Remaining: Days until deadline
  • Contribution Trends: Daily/weekly/monthly trends

Campaign Overview (Pro)​

Campaign overview provides detailed insights:

  • Performance Metrics: Key performance indicators
  • Contribution Timeline: Timeline of contributions
  • Contributor Breakdown: Analysis of contributors
  • Reward Performance: Reward tier performance (Campaign Mode)
  • Geographic Data: Location of contributors (if available)

Revenue Analytics​

Revenue Breakdown​

  1. Navigate to Analytics

    • Go to Growfund > Analytics
    • Click Revenue Breakdown tab

  2. View Revenue Analysis

    • Revenue by campaign
    • Revenue by date period
    • Revenue by payment method
    • Revenue trends over time

Revenue Metrics​

  • Campaign Revenue: Revenue breakdown by campaign
  • Date Period Revenue: Revenue by day/week/month/year
  • Payment Method Revenue: Revenue by payment gateway
  • Revenue Trends: Revenue trends and patterns
  • Comparison: Compare periods and campaigns

Donation Revenue Breakdown (Pro)​

For Donation Mode:

  • Donation Revenue: Total donation revenue
  • Donation Trends: Donation trends over time
  • Average Donation: Average donation amount
  • Donor Analysis: Donor contribution patterns
  • Campaign Performance: Donation campaign performance

Campaign Revenue Breakdown (Pro)​

For Campaign Mode:

  • Pledge Revenue: Total pledge revenue
  • Pledge Trends: Pledge trends over time
  • Average Pledge: Average pledge amount
  • Backer Analysis: Backer contribution patterns
  • Reward Performance: Reward tier performance

  1. Navigate to Analytics

    • Go to Growfund > Analytics
    • Click Top Campaigns tab

  2. View Top Campaigns

    • List of top-performing campaigns
    • Revenue and contributor counts
    • Performance rankings

Top Donors/Backers​

  1. Navigate to Analytics

    • Go to Growfund > Analytics
    • Click Top Donors or Top Backers tab

  2. View Top Contributors

    • List of top contributors
    • Total contribution amounts
    • Contribution history

Top Fundraisers (Pro)​

For Pro version with fundraiser management:

  • Top Fundraisers: List of top-performing fundraisers
  • Fundraiser Performance: Revenue and campaign counts
  • Fundraiser Rankings: Performance rankings

Customizable Analytics Periods​

Date Range Selection​

  1. Select Date Range

    • Choose predefined period (today, week, month, year)
    • Or select custom date range
    • Apply date filter

  2. View Filtered Data

    • Analytics update based on selected period
    • Compare different periods
    • Export filtered data

Period Options​

  • Today: Today's data
  • This Week: Current week's data
  • This Month: Current month's data
  • This Year: Current year's data
  • Custom Range: Select custom start and end dates
  • Compare Periods: Compare two different periods

Revenue Charts​

  1. Navigate to Analytics

    • Go to Growfund > Analytics
    • View revenue charts

  2. Chart Types

    • Line charts for revenue trends
    • Bar charts for revenue comparison
    • Pie charts for revenue breakdown
    • Area charts for cumulative revenue

Chart Features​

  • Interactive Charts: Click to view details
  • Zoom and Pan: Zoom into specific periods
  • Export Charts: Export charts as images
  • Multiple Metrics: Switch between different metrics

Performance Indicators​

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)​

The analytics dashboard displays key performance indicators:

  • Conversion Rate: Percentage of visitors who donate/pledge
  • Average Contribution: Average donation/pledge amount
  • Repeat Contributors: Percentage of repeat contributors
  • Campaign Success Rate: Percentage of successful campaigns
  • Revenue Growth: Revenue growth over time

Reporting​

Generating Reports​

  1. Navigate to Analytics

    • Go to Growfund > Analytics
    • Click Reports tab

  2. Select Report Type

    • Revenue reports
    • Campaign reports
    • Contributor reports
    • Custom reports

  3. Configure Report

    • Select date range
    • Choose metrics to include
    • Set report format

  4. Generate Report

    • Click Generate Report
    • Report is generated
    • Download or email report

  • Revenue Reports: Detailed revenue analysis

  • PDF: PDF format for printing

Donor Analytics (Pro)​

Donor Overview​

Pro version includes donor overview analytics:

  1. Navigate to Donors

    • Go to Growfund > Donors
    • Select a donor
    • Click Overview tab

  2. View Donor Analytics

    • Total donations made
    • Campaigns supported
    • Donation history
    • Activity timeline

Donor Metrics​

  • Total Donated: Lifetime donation amount
  • Donation Count: Number of donations made
  • Average Donation: Average donation amount
  • Campaigns Supported: Number of campaigns supported
  • Last Donation: Date of last donation

Fundraiser Analytics (Pro)​

Fundraiser Performance​

For Pro version with fundraiser management:

  1. Navigate to Fundraisers

    • Go to Growfund > Fundraisers
    • Select a fundraiser
    • Click Analytics tab

  2. View Fundraiser Metrics

    • Total revenue raised
    • Campaigns created
    • Performance metrics
    • Activity timeline

Fundraiser Metrics​

  • Total Revenue: Total funds raised by fundraiser
  • Campaign Count: Number of campaigns created
  • Success Rate: Percentage of successful campaigns
  • Average Campaign Revenue: Average revenue per campaign
  • Activity: Fundraiser activity timeline

Fund Performance​

For Pro version with fund management:

  1. Navigate to Funds

    • Go to Growfund > Funds
    • Select a fund
    • Click Analytics tab

  2. View Fund Metrics

    • Total fund revenue
    • Campaigns in fund
    • Fund performance
    • Donor analysis

Fund Metrics​

  • Total Revenue: Total funds raised for fund
  • Campaign Count: Number of campaigns in fund
  • Donor Count: Number of unique donors
  • Average Donation: Average donation amount
  • Campaign Performance: Performance of campaigns in fund

Exporting Data​

Export Analytics Data​

  1. Navigate to Analytics

    • Go to Growfund > Analytics
    • Select data to export
    • Click Export button

  2. Select Export Format

    • CSV format
    • Excel format
    • PDF format

  3. Download Export

    • File is generated
    • Download file
    • Use for analysis

Export Options​

  • All Data: Export all analytics data
  • Filtered Data: Export filtered data
  • Specific Metrics: Export specific metrics
  • Date Range: Export data for specific date range
