Settings

This guide explains all the settings and configuration options available in Growfund. Settings allow you to customize your fundraising platform according to your needs.

Overview​

Growfund includes comprehensive settings that allow you to configure all aspects of your fundraising platform. These settings are organized into different categories for easy navigation and management.

Accessing Settings​

  1. Navigate to Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings
    • View all setting categories
    • Configure platform settings

General Settings​

Platform Mode​

  1. Navigate to General Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > General
    • Find "Platform Mode" option

  2. Select Mode

    • Campaign Mode: For reward-based crowdfunding
    • Donation Mode: For direct donations
    • Save selection

Currency Settings​

  1. Navigate to General Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > General
    • Find "Currency" section

  2. Configure Currency

    • Select default currency
    • Set currency symbol
    • Configure currency format

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Currency is applied

Date and Time Settings​

  1. Navigate to General Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > General
    • Find "Date Format" and "Time Zone" sections

  2. Configure Settings

    • Select date format
    • Set time zone
    • Configure time format

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Settings are applied

Campaign Settings​

Campaign Defaults​

  1. Navigate to Campaign Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > Campaign
    • Configure campaign defaults

  2. Campaign Options

    • Default campaign duration
    • Default funding goal format
    • Campaign approval requirements
    • Campaign visibility options

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Settings are applied

Campaign Features (Pro)​

Pro version includes additional campaign settings:

  • Enable Comments: Allow comments on campaigns
  • Tribute Options: Configure tribute donation options
  • Fund Management: Enable fund management
  • Visibility Settings: Configure campaign visibility

Reward Settings (Campaign Mode)​

  1. Navigate to Campaign Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > Campaign
    • Find "Rewards" section

  2. Configure Rewards

    • Default reward limits (free: 3 rewards, 5 items per reward)
    • Shipping options
    • Reward delivery settings

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Settings are applied

Donation Form Settings (Donation Mode)​

  1. Navigate to Campaign Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > Campaign > Donation Form
    • Configure donation form options

  2. Form Options

    • Default donation amounts
    • Suggested donation amounts (Pro)
    • Allow custom donation amounts (Pro)
    • Form field requirements

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Settings are applied

Payment Settings​

Payment Gateway Configuration​

  1. Navigate to Payment Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > Payment
    • Configure payment gateways

  2. Gateway Options

    • Stripe configuration
    • PayPal configuration
    • Offline payment settings
    • WooCommerce integration

Processing Fees​

  1. Navigate to Payment Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > Payment
    • Find "Processing Fees" section

  2. Configure Fees

    • Set processing fee percentage
    • Configure fee recovery method
    • Set fee display options

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Settings are applied

Admin Commission (Pro)​

Pro version includes admin commission settings:

  1. Navigate to Payment Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > Payment
    • Find "Admin Commission" section

  2. Configure Commission

    • Set commission percentage
    • Configure commission type
    • Set commission calculation method

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Settings are applied

Guest Checkout (Pro)​

Pro version allows guest checkout:

  1. Navigate to Payment Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > Payment
    • Find "Guest Checkout" option

  2. Enable Guest Checkout

    • Toggle guest checkout on
    • Configure guest checkout settings
    • Save settings

User Permissions Settings​

Registration Settings​

  1. Navigate to User Permissions

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > User Permissions
    • Configure registration settings

  2. Registration Options

    • Enable/disable user registration
    • Set registration requirements
    • Configure default role
    • Email verification (Pro)

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Settings are applied

Fundraiser Settings (Pro)​

Pro version includes fundraiser settings:

  1. Navigate to User Permissions

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > User Permissions > Fundraisers
    • Configure fundraiser permissions

  2. Fundraiser Options

    • Fundraiser permissions
    • Campaign creation permissions
    • Fund assignment permissions

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Settings are applied

Anonymous Contributions (Pro)​

Pro version allows anonymous contributions:

  1. Navigate to User Permissions

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > User Permissions
    • Find "Anonymous Contributions" option

  2. Enable Anonymous Contributions

    • Toggle anonymous contributions on
    • Configure privacy settings
    • Set display options

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Settings are applied

Contributor Comments (Pro)​

Pro version includes contributor comments:

  1. Navigate to User Permissions

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > User Permissions
    • Find "Contributor Comments" option

  2. Enable Comments

    • Toggle comments on
    • Configure comment moderation
    • Set comment requirements

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Settings are applied

Email & Notifications Settings​

Email Configuration​

  1. Navigate to Email Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > Email & Notifications
    • Configure email settings

  2. Email Options

    • Sender name and email
    • SMTP configuration
    • Email delivery settings

Pro version includes email template customization:

  1. Navigate to Email Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > Email & Notifications > Template Colors
    • Customize email templates

  2. Template Options

    • Click Save Changes

PDF Receipt Settings​

Receipt Configuration​

  1. Navigate to PDF Receipt Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > PDF Receipt
    • Configure receipt options

    • Receipt logo and branding
    • Receipt colors (Pro)
    • Tax information (Pro)
    • Signature (Pro)
    • Annual receipts (Pro)

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes

Security Settings​

Email Verification (Pro)​

Pro version includes email verification:

  1. Navigate to Security Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > Security
    • Find "Email Verification" option

  2. Enable Email Verification

    • Toggle email verification on
    • Configure verification settings
    • Set verification requirements

  3. Save Settings

    • Click Save Changes
    • Settings are applied

License Settings (Pro)​

License Activation​

  1. Navigate to License Settings

    • Go to Growfund > Settings > License
    • Configure license settings

  2. Activate License

    • Enter license key
    • Click Activate License
    • Verify license status

    • View license details
    • Check license status
    • Renew license if needed
